UPDATE: This car was written off on 17 March 2005. Whilst waiting to turn right off a main road, a woman coming down the hill behind us decided not to stop and drove straight into the back of us, crumpling the chassis. As a result, the car was written off. After a lengthy fight with Direct Line (who, by the way, are a bunch of evil and highly incompetent bastards), I managed to get a settlement fee of £2,900 for the car -- much less than it was worth to me.

My Prelude is a 1994 Japanese Si VTEC import with four-wheel steering (4WS).

VTEC is a (sort of) acronym, standing for "Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control". The system is used on top of a 2.2 litre engine.
